Which gintama should i watch

Gintama like have those times where you wont get the joke because sometimes only japanese people can get it, but im sure you will love the show. Get familiar with anime that is considered main stream in Japan like DBz, one piece , Doraemon, jojo, Naruto,etc And when I say get familiar I obviously don't mean you have watch all of them, just watch a few episodes or just watch videos related to it on YouTube etc Nothing is required, just get a good sub that explains what the show is referencing and you'll be good to go.

Gintama might even open your path to the wider japanese pop culture world. I ended up watching some series that Gintama referenced. You dont have to watch all shonen classics, its enough if you just know some main things. I havent watched Dragon ball nor Naruto, but stillt get those references since its basic anime knowledge. The more you watched the better :. Just watch it whenever you feel like it, you don't have to ask others about it.. You make the choice, whether you want to watch Gintama or not But I believe you should watch it, it's just my opinion though.
